Eric Openshaw has been playing music since he was 7 years old when he picked up the piano ( and won several awards in the music federation yearly competition). He took piano until right before high school when he began to play the guitar freshmen year at age 14. Since then he has taught himself in addition to taking classes and private lessons In addition to the Eric Openshaw Band, Eric runs the Utah Radio Reading Service where he mixes sound and maintains the subtleties of the radio functions. Eric is also a teacher at the Paul Green School of Rock where he teaches kids (7-18 ) the basics of rock music as well as more intermediate and advanced studies to several of his handful of students. |
